These groups are led by chris, a certified grief recovery method specialist, providing expert guidance to support you throughout your healing journey.
Grief is emotional, not logical
Loss can stem from various experiences—whether it’s the death of a loved one, a divorce, the end of a romantic relationship, or any of the forty other losses one might face, such as moving, pet loss, or financial changes. Regardless of the cause, we understand that the feelings associated with grief are often overwhelming and painful.
No one will ever know how you feel, because no one truly can. Chris provides a compassionate and supportive environment where you can access specific tools to help you recover from your loss and ultimately lead a happier life.

Grief is a natural emotional response to loss, yet most of what we learn about it is intellectual. While our grief support groups include educational components, effective recovery requires addressing your emotional pain. Our approach prioritizes emotional support over mere explanations.

What is the grief recovery method® support group?
Our grief support groups provide a safe space to examine your beliefs about dealing with loss, identify which losses have impacted your life, and take actionable steps toward resolving the emotions that may still be causing you pain.
Action-based approach:
The program includes reading and writing assignments outlined in *the grief recovery handbook – 20th anniversary expanded edition*.
Structured format:
Participation is through either an 8-week group or a 7-week one-on-one format, depending on your preference and availability.
Expert facilitation:
Each group is facilitated by a certified grief recovery specialist who shares a common goal: to help others heal.
Personal focus:
You will learn about various types of loss and choose the specific loss you want to address during the program.
